Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
2nd Mortgages that exceed the value of your home
I took a 2nd mtg on my home to clear credit card debt about a year ago rather than filing Bankruptcy. Now I have the 2nd mtg to pay plus I have new credit card debt. Can I file Bankruptcy in order to wipe out my 2nd mtg & new credit card debt?

To properly advise you, I would need to explore your total financial picture. I suggest you call me for an appointment, The first 15 minutes is without obligation.
The debt represented by the mortgage can be discharged. That will not however obviate the lien on your property.
The credit card debt is probably dischargeable.
