Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
5 years after filing
I'm a co-signer on a vehicle that was included in my husbands bankruptcy 5 years ago(2000). I was contacted this week with a balance due. Is there any time limit as to how long they can take to ask for this collection?

If you taken no action which would toll the running of the s/l, you should be ok. Do not acknowledge the debt in any manner or form. Make no payments. To provide a more complete response, I would need more information.
