Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
what happens to an approved bankruptcy filing when the person who filed the bankruptcy dies? There was no will, and only a surviving Brother? The Bankruptcy attorney says that the next of kin is liable to make these monthly payments. Can the trustee of the bankruptcy go after anything that was left to the next of kin?

I suggest you speak with a bankruptcy attorney about this problem. You cannot be made to pay your brother's debts.
