Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Automatic Stay on conversion to chapter 13
We were in a chapter 7 and our mortgage company was granted relief of stay. We just converted to a 13 and received a new case #, ie 3 on end of case. We notified the mortgage co but they said they do not need a new release since they have one. Since this is a new case # and new chapter 13 is a new stay in effect? Or how can we make it so a new stay would apply to stop forclosure.
Thank you
