Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

Bankrupsy law

My husband and I live in Florida and our senior citizens and our combined Social Security income is only $1400 per month . We own the 1972 mobile home on rented lot we live in and are in debt for $30.000 We have no other assets other then a 1995 car in poor condition . We are not able to work due to poor health. If we do not file bankrupsy because we have nothing can a lien be put on our mobile home. I do not have the funds now to file chaper 7 bankrupsy. Are we Judgement Proof at this point . If a lien is put on our mobile home will it be removed if we manage to file bankrupsy?

Re: Bankrupsy law

Since you live in the mobile home it does qualify for homestead. As such, other than for the statutory exceptions, no lien will attach.
