how much can a bankruptcy cost, my debt is around 30,000.00.

The cost depends upon the chapter that you can file. Attorney fees in a chapter 7 can range from $1000 and up. In a chapter 13 attorney fees are much higher, but many will take payments. The court costs in a 7 are $306, and a little less for a 13.
