Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Bankruptcy
Can a Creditor obtain funds from my checking account after I've filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy? The garnishment was served to my bank prior to the filing, but there was a hold date. The funds were paid from my checking account to the creditor after my bankruptcy was filed.
Is there a form I need to use to get the money returned. They left me with a negative balance in my acct.
I filed my bankruptcy without an attorney, so I have no one to ask.

You get what you pay for. Yes you can recover the money. Continue representing yourself or hire an atty.
