Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

I have filed Chapter 7, and it is expected to be discharged July 21, 2008. As part of the bankruptcy, I have surrendered my new car, and I have located an older car which I can get for 500.00 (the owner will take payments). Can I register the car in my name and transfer my tag before the discharge?
