Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Bankruptcy
We live in Florida and started a business last year. It failed and now we're stuck with $82,000 of debt and $2,000 more monthly expenses than income. If we file bankruptcy and include our home in it, how long do we have from the time we file to leave the house? Will we have time to get things organized? Thank you.

Re: Bankruptcy
It's usually about two to six months, depending on how fast the bank's lawyers work.
