Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

Bankruptcy Perjury

If after reviewing a bankruptcy chapter 13 filing, you realize that some of the entries are false, what do you do or who do you contact to report possible perjury? Also, if child support is reported as a monthly expense to lower the disposable income amount, but the debtor is still not paying it, can I proceed with the contempt charge or do I have to submit a Relief from Stay to be safe??

Re: Bankruptcy Perjury

Respectfully, you seem to be an aggrieved spouse. I suggest you discuss the matter with your attorney, whom I am sure can apply the maximum pressure to the situation. Failing that, contact the Chapter 13 Trustee. If all else fails resubmit the question or contact me at 305-940-8080.
