bankruptcy
I will lose my job in 3 months. New employment will not pay the bills I have now. Can I file now, or do I have to go broke first?

Re: bankruptcy
If you cannot pay your bills, and all other things being equal, you may file now. I suggest you call me at 305-940-8080 for an appointment to discuss your financial condition and the avenues available for you to obtain relief.

Re: bankruptcy
I would suggest that you wait until your financial situation starts to improve before filing bankruptcy. Typically, unemployment cannot be garnisheed by creditors, and once you get back to work, you will have maxed up all your indebtedness. If you file now, you will have to pay any debt you run up after filing.
