Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
My brother filed chapter 7 bankrupcy. He lives in Kansas. I live in Florida, and I am the cosigner on his truck, which is part of the bankrupcy. (The truck's title is in Florida) The banks will come after me for the money on the truck, but I do not make enough money to cover the payments plus my own car and housing. How can I release myself from this debt without filing bankrupcy myself?

You can't. That is the danger of co signing. Hopefully your brother will feel morally obligated to you to continue making the payments.
