Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
ch.7 owning a boat
I'm thinking about filing Ch. 7. I own a boat (paid for) worth between 4,000 and 5,000. Will I have to surrender it.

Yes, unless the Trustee abandons it. (which is unlikely)

Normally yes. Sit down with a bankruptcy attorney and come up with a pre-bankruptcy filing plan to protect the boat.
