Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
My chapter 11 bankruptcy plan was recently confirmed. I am paying the trustee a monthly fee for 4 more years. At that time, or if I pay it off early, my debt should be discharged. My attorney said I could walk away from my mortgage but I don't know if he meant now that my plan was confirmed or do I have to wait until my debt is discharged?
