Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
chapter 7, married but filing single.
My husband has a fund in his name ''in trust for'' me. $1600.00, will that be an asset that can be taken? I was told we are allowed $400 each, should we take out the balance & pay a bill off?
Any help would be appreaciated.
Thank you,
P. Lilore

You need competent counsel. It always is preferred to have exempt assets than non. Prior to advising you, I would have to review your financial situation and then make suggestions to protect your interests. If you wish, call for an appointment at 305-940-8080
