Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Thank you. This is in regards to Chapter 7, we owned a Townhouse that will be foreclosed on with Renters. This Chapter 7 was strickly Business Related. We always made the Townhouse payment on time and was never late, therefore the foreclosure may take months (Located in PC, FL). The current renter refuse to pay rent anymore, but continue to live there. It's my understanding we are still responsible for anything that could be a liability risk. I have recommended to lower rent and we would put in separate account for repairs, HOA Dues and other needs related to Townhouse. Legally - What can I do?

More facts are needed to answer your question. Did you file a chapter 7 bankruptcy and has the debt on the townhouse been discharged are the main questions. Basically you should evict the tenant in my opinion.
