Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Chapter 7 and repossession
Can your vehicle be repossessed if you filed a chapter 7? It is discharged and we paid what the court ordered us to pay. Thanks for the help!

Re: Chapter 7 and repossession
Have you discussed this with the atty who represented you in the bkcy proceedings? ( Maybe you had none. ) If the car lien was properly adressed in the proceeding and you fulfilled your payment obligations in a timely manner then it seems that the repo was improper.
You need consult with a competent atty as soon as possible. If you are in the souht Fl area, call me.
