Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Collection attempts after bankruptcy
After my bankruptcy discharge I began receiving calls from a collection agency. I told them the debt had been discharged, and they stopped calling after a couple of months. However, my latest credit report still shows that the account is still in collections, and they had put it in collections after the discharge date. I have been denied new credit 3 times due to the in collection status of this account. What recourse due I have?
