company fires mom after bankruptcy
My mother was hired by a well known accessory manufacturer-
after checking her credit & after she was very upfront with them
about her previous bankruptcy, they discover one of the credit
bureaus had not discarged all debts. Mom was not able to resolve
the issue in their time frame and was terminated. Anything she can
do?

The creditors are discharged even if they weren't listed on the original petition. This can be cleared up through the credit report bureau. The employer discharging your mother - you would ned to contact an employment attorney. John Lynch 630-790-6300

Credit bureaus do not discharge debt, the Order of the Bankruptcy court does. The Order of discharge contains mandatory injunction language. Some states have laws regarding discrimination of employees subsequent to a discharge. First thing, I would contact the attorney that handled the bankruptcy and relate the issues that you expressed, and then perhaps a consultation with a labor attorney would not be out of place.
