Creditor sueing can I still file Ch. 7
I have a large amount of debt on two unsecured credit cards. ($10K and $13K)I haven't made a payment on either one since Oct/Nov last year. One of those is still trying to collect through internal collection dept.
The other credit card sold my account to an agent, who I spoke with and they are planning on sueing.
I just bought a book on doing Chapter 7 yourself and wanted to do that.
My problem is that although my intentions were honest, I'm afraid the court may see me as fraudulent. See, I had every intention of paying back the debt and had the income to do so. But see I fell in love and voluntarily left m

If you are otherwise eligible, go ahead and file. You should have competent counsel represent you.
