Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
disability
i became disabled in a car accident and will not be able to work for some time supported by doctors statements. i have been in chapter 13 for 2 years, do i have any protection or am i going to lose everthing? this accident occured 11/24/01 never missed or been late on a payment to trustee. only a year on new job, no benefits to speak of.

If you do not miss your chapter 13 payments you will have no problems. If you believe that you will miss them you should talk to your attorney about a modification. You can always also convert to chapter 7 but that should be consulted with your attorney
