disabled retired vet
my husband is 100% disabled, my lawyer informed me that any money he gets or any increase is subject to being taken. he receives his army retirement and va, diabetic and we sometimes have to pay for his meds when late. his disability became more severe since filing lawyer didnt want to see the papers at all told us to sell the house

It is not clear what you are asking? I believe his retirement benefits should be protected in a Bankruptcy. The equity in the home can be 100% protected in a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy if you have owned the property 3 years and 4 months or longer.
