Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Distributor Restructured
Last year, I placed an order with a mail order book distributor. The order was paid for by check, which was cashed by the company. However, my order was never shipped (back-ordered). When I called, recording informed me the company was under restructuring. Last call informed me the phone number was no longer in service. Webpage is "parked". What can I do, if anything, to get my money back?

Your only hope is in the bankruptcy court. You should file a proof claim, and assert a priority status. Counsel should be able to help for a reasonable fee. You can reach me at 305-940-8080.
