Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Fiance filing for bankruptcy
My fiance is filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy in Florida. We plan to get married around six months after he files for bankruptcy. I have owned the house we live in for nearly 1 1/2 years, and I have perfect credit. After we are married, how will my credit be affected, and can my house be taken by his creditors?

Re: Fiance filing for bankruptcy
You are each responsible for your own debts. His bad credit should not effect your credit. The house cannot be reached by his creditors. I am available to assist in the bankruptcy proceeding. You may call me at 305.940.8080
