Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Can I file bankruptcy if a judgement has been placed against me?
A creditor is getting ready to obtain a judgement against me. I have informed them I will be filing banktupcy, and he said that once the judgement is obtained, it cannot be discharged through bankruptcy. Is this true? After a divorce, losing my job, and being ill, I cannot pay any of the credit cards or repo'd car.......and therefore need to file.
