This question cannot be answered without more facts. You need to have a consultation with a bankruptcy attorney. Only an attorney who knows all of the facts and law can answer this question more completely. The big questions are about the trust and whether it is comprised of funds which are exempt. Probably not. A review of the trust will be necessary. You would not want to file a bankruptcy without knowing whether the trustee could seize your portion of the trust to pay your creditors.
