Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

I need to file chapter 7 bankruptcy that includes 2 bank judgments, my questions will the bankruptcy remove the judgments ?

The debt will be discharged. There is a process for getting the judgments declared null and void by the bankrutpcy court. It is more work for an attorney, and the services for the additional work are not usually included in the fee that you pay.

I agree with Attorney Groot. Question, are the judgments certified and recorded? If so, that makes it all the more necessary to go through this process. Your attorney must file a Motion to Avoid the Lien. Therefore, as the bankruptcy will remove your obligation to satisfy the judgments, it will not remove the judgments themselves. So, you have to go through this process.
