Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Who's to know?
Is it possible to file in another county other than the one in which i reside. the local newspaper posts the persons filing for bankrupcy and i would rather the whole town did'nt know. they must pick this information up at the county clerks office. will my employer be notified?

You must file in the DISTRICT wherein you resided for the 180 days next preceeding the filing. The filing is a matter of public record. The clerk's office will set the matter with the nearest court site to your residence. It's not that bad. Usually a one time publication. Not so many people read it. Think, instead, of the relief you will exxperience.
