Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
If someone had filed bankruptcy that was court approved and had been making monthly payments, then died suddenly after making only 4 monthly payments. Is the next of kin liable to continue making these bankruptcy payments? The deceased had no will.

No, the next of kin is not responsible for making payments if that next of kin is not a joint filer in the bankruptcy.
