Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Filed bankruptcy (joint) and it was discharged in July 2010. We had a mobile home that we owed on and surrendered. The mobile home was on property that was paid off. The two were not tied together. To date the trustee has not done anything with the property and the taxes are coming due. Is the trustee under any time limit to take over the property? I do not want to just not pay the taxes and have it sold by the county for the taxes not being paid. Should I pay the taxes? Can I do anything with the property and if so in what timeframe?
