Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
I filed Chaptr 7 almost 2 years ago and it was discharged 18 months ago. I relinquished the rights to my house and assumed the bank would contact me to sign deed in lieu. Just found out that even though I turned the water service off before vacating I am being charged a base rate each month for last 2 years . Bank says my account is with attorney and they are avoiding me. Why are they doing this. Will they refuse deed in lieu? Why would they? What is the advantage to them right now doing absolutely nothing. Thanks

They cannot come after you. The debt to them was discharged. Consult with your bankruptcy attorney about this.
