Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
filing bankruptcy
I filed bankruptcy in 2000 can I file again? If not when? I think it was 13, they paid off everything. I filed it in Kentucky and I now live in Florida.

Re: filing bankruptcy
First you can file a chapter 13 again. If you received a discharge of any debts, however, then you must file a plan with 100% payout on unsecured creditors. You may call me, if you have other questions. See www.fladebtrelief.com

Re: filing bankruptcy
Bankruptcy law has changed dramatically over the last few years. Qualifying is not simply waiting a certain amount of years to file the next bankruptcy. You should consult with a bankruptcy attorney to review your situation and assess your options.
