Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
after filing bankruptcy
i filed bankruptcy. i have not received the discharge papers yet. now i want to sell my house. can the court take any proceeds from the amount we paid for the house less the amount owed on the house which is about $10,000 we would be using this money to buy another home.

I presume you did not and do not yet have the house under asales contract. If that is true, then the contemplated transaction should be fine. But since you have no contract, you will need the permission of the Court if you contract for sale before discharge. Easiest is to wait until you receive your discharge.
