Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
I was given a final judgment of foreclosure last month and I am supposed to be out of my house on June. I am filing bankruptcy chapter 7 and I am not sure if I need to list this house that went to foreclosure on my schedule A as real estate property? Am I still the owner even though I was given a foreclosure final judgment? The question on the bankruptcy petition is if I own Real Estate Property and I am not sure if at this point I do
Thanks

Yes, you would list it. Unless it has already gone through the sale process at auction, filing the bankruptcy petition should also stop the sale, and should prolong the amount of time you can stay in the home. Talk to your bankruptcy attorney.
