Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Can a finalized chapter 7 bankruptcy be amended to include another debtor that billed for services in that period? It is a health issue that was later rejected by medicaid and is now in collection.

Yes, in most situations. Even if you have already received a discharge and your case is closed, you can ask the Court to reopen your case to include the debt, so lon as it existed prior to your Chapter 7 filing date.
There is a court cost of around $225.00 dollars, but it sounds like it would be worth it.
Good Luck.
