Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Foreclosure after Bankruptcy Discharge
I got my bankruptcy discharge about 6 months ago, however I added my house that I had with my sister. Both of our names were on the house & the loan. I surrender my interest duing my bankruptcy & she kept the house. Now she cannot going through foreclosure & I received a foreclosure summons, I called the attorney on the court papers, they stated that I do not owe them anything b/c of the bankruptcy but the foreclosure will still show on my credit, how is that possible
