Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Harrassing creditor
i filed bankruptcy about two and half years ago and one of the creditors that were on my list was whom i dealt with my financial loan servicing and i never received anything else from them since untill now a collections agency...they try to tell me that the loan was to a different organization then what was listed..my bill was always paid to the one i put on my creditor sheet..i have sent them discharge papers etc...still say it is not discharged.if i listed the creditor on the sheet and it was sent to them then why are they telling me that it was a totally different organization that i owed money to when this place never told me of the other i always paid to the people who sent me the bill...i am very confused and need some kind of advice...if you need more detail please contact me...it probably would be alot better in person...

Re: Harrassing creditor
Based upon the facts as you presented them, it seems that you are the victim of an over zealous collector. You may have a claim for various violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
You are correct that it would be best to see me personally. Please call for a no obligation appointment and consultation. There is a relatively short statute of limitations. My voice # is 305-940-8080.
