Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Help , I hired (and paid in full) a bankruptcy attorney 7 months ago to file Chap 13 for me. I can't contact her..she won't answer or return phone calls or emails..no contact! She emailed me once in March and that was it. Now I find I'm facing foreclosure(we were to include 2 back pymts in Chap 13). She wouldnt return calls from mortgage company either. I have no idea if I'll be able to get my $ back and can scarcely afford to pay another attorney. I'm in a panic to save my home. Should I try to hire another attorney or scramble to catch up mortgage which now will include their attorney fees?
Thanks

It sounds to me like your attorney may have become ill. You should actually go to the attorney's office and find out what is going on.
