Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Homestead Status of Manufactured Home on leased lot
If I own & live in a Manufactured house that is permanently attached via a concrete foundation to a leased lot in a senior citizen's retirement community, is it my homestead, exempt from forced sale by creditors and/or the IRS in the event of a future bankruptcy or income tax lien?

It is exempt under the Florida Homestead law from state court process. The I.R.S. if you get them mad will come in and take the property. File before they get that mad. Anthony Comparetto, Esq., 727-328-7900 www.florida-bankruptcy-law.com
