Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

judgement in florida

I have a judgement in the amount of $100,000. In florida they suspend your driver licence until you come to an agreement with the parties involved.

I am unable to pay this amount. I have three small children and would never be able to save for school if I was to settle with them. Is there anything I might be able to do . Thanks for your help

Re: judgement in florida

Bankruptcy seems to be your avenue of relief. I suggest you consult with a competent creditors' rights or bankruptcy atty in your locale.

You fail to state why your license was suspended. If you were at fault in an auto accident and had no insurance, then it could occur. Discus this aspect with your atty too.

Re: judgement in florida

When you file bankruptcy, you can immediately reinstate your driver's license, which was suspended when you were involved in an accident, and you did not have insurance.
