Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Judgment and bankruptcy
I currently have a judgment against me in the amount of $35,000, plus several other debts. If I file for bankruptcy will it help me get away from the judgment?

Re: Judgment and bankruptcy
You may be able to wipe out the judgment and other debts. It depends on the nature of the judgment and debts, and your total household income and expenditures. If you earn too much, then you may have to pay back some or all of the judgment / debts, but you would be able to do so over time. We'd be happy to discuss your situation with you. We offer a free initial telephone consultation.
