Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
My former landlord is in chapter 11 Bankruptcy. He filed well over a year ago. He will not return my security deposit.
He never sent me the notice, within 30 days of vacating the house, that he intended to keep the deposit.
Can I sue him for the return of my security deposit?

Yes. See a local attorney who practices in the area. When I do such cases I do them on contingency and seek attorney's fees from the opposing party so that money doesn't come out of your pocket.
