Re: Too Late?
You are not too late. Bankruptcy will normally stop and discharge the debt. Unless you committed some type of fraud. Go to www.helpwithlaw.com to read up on bankruptcy.
Re: Too Late?
No, it is not too late. But you have provided insufficient information to determine if bankruptcy is right for you. I suggest you call for an appointment to discuss your situation and to determine the best course for you to take.
Re: Too Late?
You can file a bankruptcy any time. The advantage of doing it sooner than later is that all collection activity and this law suit would simply "go away" JMC
