is it legal for an owner to pay themselves hourly and take owers cuts?

We need to know a lot more facts than this. It is a bankruptcy question. Did you mean owner's cuts, and what does that mean? It is legal for an owner to pay themselves, but what chapter of bankruptcy are you talking about?
