Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

leins & judgements

i will be following bankruptcy within the next 12 months if a lein or judgement is filed against before the filing can i have it dismissed at bankruptcy court. oNCE i file how long does it take to go to court & how long before i get a discharge? I am presently paying some accounts should i stop paying altogather & let things proceed? Im only paying interest I was told that after I complete my residency in florida six months i can file & save my house from creditors

Upon the filing of the petition, you are in court. Usually you will have the first meeting of creditors within 21 to 30 days. A discharge should be, if all is well, obtained in as little as 3 months. You should seek competent. bankruptcy counsel
