Can I list as exempt my Personal Residence with a net worth value of $300,000?

Yes, if you have less than $125,000 worth of equity in the house (which I assume is not true, since you said "net worth") or if you've owned the house more than 1,215 days. You should speak to a bankruptcy lawyer before you file, though. Don't put your house at risk without being certain, because there are other rules that apply to homesteads.
