Since most divorce orders aren't affected by bankrupct, it probably doesn't matter, but each case is different. You'll have to speak with an attorney and describe your situation to know for sure. Sometimes it's a good idea to file a joint (husband and wife) bankruptcy before divorce, but the attorney will let you know for certain.
