Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
How long do I have to be a Fl. resident before filing chap. 7?
I am disabled and my wife cannot work. We have accrued large credit card debt. How long do I have to be a Fl. resident before I can file in the state? Also I was told if I only have one vehicle and need it to get to doctor appt. I can keep the car under an exemption. I do not have to reaffirm the loan or pay on it any longer. Is this true? I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank-you--name removed--Wilcox
