Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
If my mom is the co-signer on my car and she is filing for bankruptcy, is my credit going to be effected if I cant get the loan put in my name? If my credit is effected is it better to just let it go into bankruptcy and get another car?

First of all, she has to list the car on her bankruptcy, but can put you as a co-owner of the vehicle. It should not effect your credit, but you may have to reaffirm the debt. It would be better to try to get a loan in your name only.
