Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Morgage Bankruptcy after divorce
When my ex husband and I divorced, I left him the house, I had to file bankruptcy, and since I was no longer living in the house, I also filed it on the house, but if something happens and he does not make the payments, can they still come to me for the money?

The question should be answered by the attorney who represented you in the bankruptcy proceding.
If the debt was properly scheduled, and no objections were filed, then the debt on the house should have been discharged. Accordingly the answer to your question is ,subject to a review of what really happened, no.
